F. James Nelson is an accountant and business owner who has worked in finance and accounting for over 20 years. James is a retired Chief Financial Officer with the government and a full-service accountant including taxes, bookkeeping, payroll, business consulting, business entity formation, and IRS audit support. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Alaska Pacific University and a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Keller Graduate School, DeVry University. James started studying the tax code early in his career while he was working for a CPA firm. He has also worked as a Controller for a construction company and has a well-versed background including budget, audit, risk management and much more. During his career with the government, which spanned almost 17 years, he was an Accountant, Chief Accountant, Assistant CFO and a CFO.
